Rim of cup is very comfortable and greatly helps my endurance. Backbore is free blowing and doesn't offer as much resistance as some of the mouthpieces I've played on before.

Quality piece
There was a error with my top caps not having the rubber washers put in them before shipping. After I emailed Pickett I received them quickly with out any hassle at all. They also said they were sorry for the mistake. I appreciated that.

The precision of the machining was terrific -- the measurements had been taken at ITG in Harrisburg, using hand-held measuring tools so I was a bit apprehensive about how well the trim pieces would fit. When they arrived, it was as if they had been machined by the trumpet maker! Flawless workmanship!
Trumpet mouthpieces (and their results) are so individual that it's hard to quantify satisfaction through a survey unless you separate the customer satisfaction from the product quality. I think this is because of the temporal nature of our business as musicians, and the marriage of personal satisfaction with the product. Rating your products very highly is easy from a quality standpoint. Does the product make my job as a musician easier? I hope so, because that was the reason for purchasing the product in the first place.
Heavy Bottom Caps give my horn more 'crunch', for lack of a better word...

Absolutely wonderful! I've made it through the "honeymoon" period and still love the mouthpiece I got! I've never had a mouthpiece that fit as well as this one.
Very good design on the rim and cup as well as the backbore system with varying sizes. I think the brass look on the tops and backbore is very cool.

Excellent workmanship
Most dramatic improvement to the sound of my playing without changing practice habits. I do play regularly, but the mouthpiece, backbore and valve caps made a great improvement in my sound and the more secure slotting of my horn.
